As a small charity, we often need a little bit of extra help when it comes to making sure that we are present at as many events as possible. 

As a Sport in Mind Events volunteer, there are two broad sections:

Community Events

We would be looking for someone who is willing to work with us on an ad-hoc basis and attend events focused around mental health in their local area to represent Sport in Mind. 

This role is crucial in ensuring that as many people as possible are aware of the services that Sport in Mind offer and are gain an awareness of the possible activities they could be engaging in within their locality. 

As a volunteer at Sport in Mind community events, you will responsible for running small stalls and giving attendees information about sessions including timetables, leaflets, and where to find more information. You will need to be friendly, approachable and have an understanding of/willing to learn about the how Sport in Mind deliver sessions and the attendee sign-up process.

Annual Events

Sport in Mind deliver a number of annual tournaments for all of our attendees in what are fun, enjoyable and light-hearted events. In order to ensure that these tournaments run as smoothly as possible, we require a number of volunteers to help with things like scoring, refereeing, and making sure teams and players know where their next game is. We are looking for individuals who are friendly, approachable and have a good knowledge of the rules of any of football, cricket or badminton.
