Some are aimed at adults but the ideas and suggestions in them are very relevant for young people and their parents. Health for Kids: A great range of fun activities for children to learn about their health- from games that get them talking about their feelings to illness and how to ask for help. There is a 'grown ups' areas too. Health for Teens: A useful resource for teens covering everything from growing up, relationships, self-esteem, feelings and sexual health ChatHealth: Confidential advice from trained healthcare professionals in your area. You don't have to give your name, just send a message Tellmi.help: Tellmi is a safe, anonymous app where you can talk about absolutely anything. From anxiety to autism, dating to depression, or self-harm to self-esteem, sharing your experiences with a supportive community helps you to feel better. Tellmi's moderators check everything to keep you safe and our in-house counsellors are always on hand if you need extra support If you just need to talk, any time of day or night these free listening services are available: These services offer confidential advice from trained volunteers. You can talk about anything that's troubling you, no matter how difficult: Call 116 123 to talk to Samaritans, or email: [email protected] for a reply within 24 hours Text "SHOUT" to 85258 to contact the Shout Crisis Text Line, or text "YM" if you're under 19 If you're under 19, you can also call 0800 1111 to talk to Childline.
