At Sport in Mind, we firmly believe that all forms of physical activity are good for our mental health. A gentle walk in the fresh air can be just as beneficial as a more intensive sport, and we are incredibly lucky to have some stunning locations around the areas we operate, including some of the most beautiful parks and woodlands that form part of the National Trust.

 

Ahead of World Mental Health Day, Sport in Mind joined forces with the National Trust to offer a relaxed walking experience at Basildon Park- an 18th century treasure nestled in historic parklands and gardens in Berkshire. Our day began with a picturesque walk in the sunshine around the park, and followed with the National Trust granting us the privilege of exploring the splendid house itself, ending in a gathering in the charming cafe for a well deserved cuppa!
