Our main priority is to keep everyone who attends our sessions safe - and having data which is up-to-date is a key part of that as it allows us to take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our attendees, volunteers, session leaders, and staff.

The data we collect also allows us to let you know if a session has to be cancelled, or to any changes which are relevant within our weekly schedule.

Sport in Mind primarily use an online registration system called Upshot. This allows us to create profiles for each attendee, volunteer, carer, and support worker who attends our sessions. We can then keep registers and update any changes to your data within this secure electronic format. Originally created by the FA, Upshot is now used by over 1,000 non-profits and organisations from a wide range of backgrounds.

Sport in Mind will control your personal data in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 (incorporating the General Data Protection Regulation). Data will be used to help monitor the success of our programmes and help plan future groups. Your data will not be disclosed to anyone outside of Sport in Mind, except where impersonal statistical data may be derived and used for management analysis and reporting statistics to funding bodies.

If you are ever concerned about how your data is being used, or would like to find out more - please contact us at [email protected] or call on 0118 947 9762 and a member of team will come back to you as soon as possible.
