Get Involved Volunteering Volunteering at a Jog/Walk Sport in Mind – Jog/Walk Jogs and Walks are one of the most common ways for people to exercise and the mental and physical health benefits are well-documented. Our Sport in Mind Jogs and Walks are designed to be accessible to all levels of runners/walkers, so all levels of volunteers are welcome. These sessions are perhaps our most social sessions so the ability to engage with, listen to and encourage service users is essential. As a Sport in Mind Jog/Walk Volunteer, you could be asked to complete several duties: Ensuring that all users have stretched before and after the session Be flexible in your speed, be prepared to go at the service user’s pace Encouraging service users Assisting in delivering a warm up and cool down if necessary We are currently looking for Jog/Walk volunteers at the following sessions:
