I am going to be running 10km plus every day in August to raise awareness of mental health, particiularly in BAME communities and help promote the benifits of being more active
I want to help fundraise for Sport in Mind as I know first hand and from other people’s experiences close to me how hugely beneficial sport is for improving mental health.
Mental health is really on the radar at the moment, so I’d really like to raise even more awareness and help raise money towards your charity.

An important charity promoting health and well being
Throughout my life, playing sports has been a major part of my life. Over recent years, sport has improved my mental health significantly and I believe mental health is such a prominent matter at all times. I have always loved and played football throughout my whole life but during this lockdown period I have been cycling a lot and it has helped me to be a happier person. Being able to raise awareness for mental health whilst doing something I love will be an absolute privilege.
