Currently reading an MSc in Clinical Psychology and in the process of completing my Personal Training qualification - it has become so important especially in these times how physical and mental health go hand in hand
Throughout my life, playing sports has been a major part of my life. Over recent years, sport has improved my mental health significantly and I believe mental health is such a prominent matter at all times. I have always loved and played football throughout my whole life but during this lockdown period I have been cycling a lot and it has helped me to be a happier person. Being able to raise awareness for mental health whilst doing something I love will be an absolute privilege.

I needed a challenge for myself and saw red January and I know that physical exercise helps with mental health. I was struggling mentally with not working in the hospitality sector since October and needed something to focus on.

We know that lockdown has been tough especially on people's mental health and we know the positive impact sport has on health both physically and mentally. As a club we want to support those who support mental health through sport.
